FAQ
1) What areas do you service?
I service the Greater Richmond area, which includes anywhere that is roughly 30 minutes from the State Capitol building. Contact me for more specific details.
2) Do you accept my insurance?
We are in-network with Medicare. For all other patients, we accept payment with credit/debit cards, HSA, FSA, and cash. If we are not in-network with your insurance, we will provide you with a SuperBill that you can submit to your insurance to hopefully be reimbursed for services. There is no guarantee of reimbursement as we are only in-network with Medicare.
3) How much is a 1 hour session?
We charge only $150/session to help you get back to motion. If you are serious about returning to doing the things you love, you can purchase 1 month plans for a 20% discount. 1 month plans consist of 2 visits/week for 4 weeks; however, if you have any scheduling conflicts, we can be flexible with your schedule.
4)Why should I choose a cash-based PT instead of a traditional physical therapy clinic?
At a traditional physical therapy clinic, patients are usually booked in 30 minute spots, and they are often "double-booked" in a spot with another patient. Once they've put you on a 10 minute warm-up or started you on 10 minutes of heat, this gives you 10-20 minutes of 1-on-1 time with your therapist. You also might not even see your Physical Therapist for another 10 visits; you may be assigned to the Assistant. With Back to Motion Physical Therapy, your entire session is spent 1-on-1 with your doctor.
Insurance companies like to tell patients and healthcare providers what treatments are allowed and what is needed for the patient whom they know nothing about. With Back to Motion Physical Therapy, you and your Physical Therapist make the decisions on what is right for you.
5) Will my treatment be limited if it's in my home instead of a tradtional physical therapy clinic?
Absolutely not! Your physical therapist comes to you with a treatment table and the necessary equipment to provide excellent service. There is always more than one way to do something, and you don't need fancy equipment to get the outcome you're looking for.
